The Channel Islands (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was chartered in June 1982 by Louise Finch and Marilyn Ucok, and is preparing to celebrate its 40th year of service to our community. The organization focuses on cultural enrichment, education, health & wellness and civic involvement.
We are composed of progressive and talented women of African descent who have a common goal of enhancing the quality of life in our community with increased emphasis on empowering our youth. Our Chapter continues to be one of the premier nonprofit organizations in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
We are committed to addressing concerns and issues that impact the quality of life in our communities through our organization’s five facets: The Arts, International Trends and Service, National Trends and Services, Services to Youth, and Health and Human Services. We welcome your support to assist us in providing outstanding programs for the betterment of our community.
